Executive Chairman
Engr James David Shaw
Engr James David Shaw is a Professional Mining Engineer with over 37 years of mining experience, originally from Liverpool, England. He studied in London and began his career in sales, where a lifelong knack for gems eventually drew him into the mineral industry.
He is currently the Executive Chairman of the Board of Shaw Minerals Limited and the founder of the Kariba NGO. He also sits on the boards of directors of Yamana Gold Inc. and African Gold Group Inc. He has served on the board of Shaw Minerals Limited since the company's inception in 1987 and became its Chairman in the same year.
Prior to Shaw Minerals, Engr Shaw held various engineering and management positions with Morrison Knudsen Company in the contract mining operations group throughout the Western United States.
He holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering, an M.S. in Engineering Management and a Master of Business Administration degree.

Former resources-sector investment banker. Mei-Lin oversees capital allocation, treasury and the disciplined funding model behind the Company's partnership strategy.
Rajesh Nair
Vice President, Exploration
An economic geologist with a track record of district-scale discovery. Rajesh directs the drill programmes that replenish the Company's resource base each year.

Elise leads environmental stewardship, permitting and community partnership, ensuring cultural legacy and local well-being are designed into every project.
